Therapy is collaborative process of personal growth and self-discovery, in a non-judgmental setting. In therapy, the therapist and client work together to resolve problematic beliefs, feelings, behaviors and relationship issues. Whether it's working through internal struggles, conflict in a relationship or learning to take better care of yourself, therapy can help. Therapy can be effective for anyone who wants to improve their daily functioning. The hope is that by the end of therapy, you will have learned new skills to better cope with whatever struggles brought you in...find your strength in your struggle.
Coaching helps to identify goals and the obstacles interfering with reaching those goals. Coaching is goal-oriented, plan driven and action based. Like therapy, coaching is supportive. But, unlike therapy, there is no mental health diagnosis provided in coaching.
